When an appointment is set complete from the Appointment Book, the procedures are assigned to the appointment provider. However, in some cases (like hygiene appointments), the procedures should be posted to multiple providers. You can quickly change the provider that is attached to procedures after they have been completed by following these steps:
- Open the Patient Chart and select the patient.
- In the Progress Notes panel, select the completed procedure(s) that should be posted to a different provider.
- Click the Change Provider for Selected Procedures button.
- Select the correct provider for the procedure(s) and click OK. The provider will be changed for all selected procedures.
By changing the procedure’s assigned provider from the Chart, you can change multiple procedures at the same time, saving you time, and your patient records will more accurately reflect the patient’s care.
